Crimson Cool
16×20 mixed media on board
Framed
This monochromatic abstract painting is much more than its appealing surface. The fragile lines are achieved negatively by wiping away and lifting paint off the surface. This technique gives interesting edges to shapes and adds depth to the layers. There is a feeling of peering through frames which might be windows.
